"I like to eat, eat, eat... apples and bananas!"

Okay, so he isn't eating apples and bananas, but we did do a trial run on some pears tonight and let me tell you, that was an interesting experience. Just check out the results!

Oh, and we got this amazing sippy cup with handles that Brennan just loves. He's still taking the bottle most of the time, but as he starts to want to grip things in his hands, he's starting to get the hang of holding his own cup. Sigh, they grow up so fast!

Brennan and Uncle Dave!

I know it's been forever, but life is very busy these days at the Kunst household. Here's a pic of Brennan and Uncle Dave (aka- the godfather). Don't they make a handsome pair???

My nephew Brody has arrived!!!

Today we welcomed Brody Michael Gray to our family. My brother David and sister-in-law Jenna had a beautiful baby boy at 12:21pm weighing 7lbs. 9 oz. and measuring 20 inches long. Her water broke around 8ish last night and she headed to the hospital shortly after. Brennan and I drove to Prior Lake to welcome the new baby this morning and made it a few hours before he arrived.

The two boys are officially 12 weeks apart and are best friends already (though they don't know it!). Grandma Gray is in seventh heaven now that both of her babies have given her grand-babies.

Do I look like Daddy?

So, the verdict is in... Brennan looks a bit like Adam... or maybe a little more than a bit. His eyes are almost definitely brown and his ears are unmistakably Adam. While I think he may have my nose, that's about all of he got from Mommy. Oh well, I guess I should count myself lucky to be living with two of the world's cutest men.

Two Month Check-Up

Yesterday, Brennan went in for his two month check-up at the doctor's office. I let them know my concern for the rashes and spit-up he's been having and Dr. Lossen seemed to think he's been suffering from a bit of acid reflux, so Bren is now taking some liquid medication twice a day (basically a baby zantac). Because he is a bit of a sensitive kid, she also decided not to give him his immunizations yet, thinking we should clear up the rash and stomach issues before giving him his shots, so we go back in a couple weeks to try again.

As far as growth goes, he's doing fine! At 10 weeks, he measures 23 inches long and weighs 10lbs. 3 oz. I can't believe he's growing up so fast!

As for Mom, I go back to work next week (part time for a bit, then full time). I'm sure I'll be just a bit emotional leaving him the first few times, but that's life! I just wish I could spend every waking moment with him... I'm afraid I'll miss something! He's beautiful even sleeping!

Brennan's First Christmas!

Well, Baby Brennan has made it through his first Christmas, and let me tell you, it was a busy one!
Here are some of the highlights:
On Christmas Eve, we packed up and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Gray's house. We woke up the next morning and opened the first round of presents. As you can see, Brennan was bit confusted at first, but he came around eventually!

He sported a "Who needs Santa, I've got Grandparents!" shirt... oh so appropriate!

After that, we headed to Great-Grandma and Grandpa Gray's house for more holiday celebration, followed by a road trip home to Grandma and Grandpa Kunst's house for our final Christmas of the day! Whew, it was a long day!
